There's a lot of us who would be using Beep with our clients for feedback on web design related projects and we need to make a distinction between clients and team members:
  • clients need full use of Beep on the front end of a website to provide feedback but only require limited functionality in the dashboard (eg: view and comment on the items they have permission to see but no other editing unless we allow it).
  • similar to basecamp and upbase, we need a way to mark items in the dashboard as private so clients can't see it. This way they can be added to a project but it still allows the team to keep certain things private.
  • There should be some sort of indicator for the team on the items clients can see such as a small orange dot or eye so we don't accidentally say something private on a client visible item.
